We are the Barbosas. We bought our first travel trailer in 2015 with the criteria that we would use it at least once a month taking trips throughout California. After a few months, we decided to get a bigger trailer so that we could take our 2 adopted dogs with us. It turns out, they really liked traveling.
In the Spring of 2021, after getting our COVID-19 vaccinations, we rented a motorhome and journeyed through the national parks in Utah, Colorado and Arizona. We'd never traveled in a motorhome before and decided that a trailer was better suited to us. That's when we downsized back to a smaller, lighter trailer to make it easier to haul. We're looking forward to expanding our journeys to other parts of the United States while also exploring some service opportunities. Read about our adventures on the "Our Journeys" page. I'm a 2022 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16BHS
First of all, a lot of people name their trailers. Nancy came up with the name Guthrie in honor of the great American songwriter Woody Guthrie for his song "This Land Is Your Land." It seemed fitting because we plan to travel the US while doing some service work and meeting our fellow Americans and visitors from other lands.
The Wolf Pup is just the right size for us. Although it's only about 16' inside, it can sleep up to 5 people, although we tend to only travel as a couple and with our two dogs. |
