In the olden days people carried jumper cables in their vehicles so that if their battery died you could use another vehicle's battery to jump start yours and be on your way.
Today you no longer have to rely on someone else's vehicle to jump start yours, as long as you have a jump starter battery pack. This came in handy a few months back while we were returning from a camping trip. We were at an RV park when we noticed our neighbors having problems starting their truck. Surprisingly, the tow company they called didn't have a way to start the vehicle. Fortunately for them, my son had given me his old jump starter battery for my truck. We attached it to their battery; powered it on and faster than you could say "buzzinga" the truck started right up. Jump Starters also have built in flashlights and may be used to charge your other electronic accessories. |
